i wanted to ask you a few questions on obama care. can you be specific on what guidance you are giving congressional republicans on the timeline for repeal and replace? >> sure. >> whether it needs to be simultaneous or -- >> finally, obama care. i thought it was never going to be asked. >> i'll ask you, though, if you have outlined a plan for what you want the replace package to look like. would it guarantee coverage for those who have gotten health insurance through the current obama care law? >> you are going to be very, very proud as not only the media and reporters -- you're going to be proud of what we put forth having to do with health care. obama care is a complete and total disaster. they can say what they want. they can guide you any way they want to guide you. in some cases they guide you incorrectly. in most cases you realize what's happened. it's imploding as we sit. some states have over 100% increase, and 17 -- i said this two years ago -- 17 is going to be the bad year. it's going to be catastrophic. frankly, we could

that's how the obama's booke book ends. it is sad. here was barack obama left and donald trump came in and getting crazy and started saying his cro inaugural crowd was bigger than barack obama which was not. donald trump touched anything that obama did trump tried to do away with. it is ironic. trump lost and biden is in. barack obama released the number one book of all time. this is going to like michelle's memoir. there is like a triumph of biden and obama and kamala harris and the american way but donald trump won't get out of the way and that's what's sort of sad. covid should have been an opportunity for our country to pull together but we are more divided than ever. it is sad that we have a president who made his symbol by not wearing a mask as he ran for reelection and the winner is mask-wearing joe biden. >> yep, that's as fact. douglas brinkley, thank you so much. >> thank you. coming up. a false reality spilling out in to the streets of washington. thousands of the president's supporters bracing claims of a stolen election.

sounds like obama in 2008. he's got energy and emotion. republican voters know mostly good things about santorum. he wasn't attacked in these debates. he was a senator for a long time and there's a reason why the senators have a hard time running for ofrs. there are a lot of compromises and things you sent out the door to get them done. romney's going to remind republican voters of all of the things that santorum did in the senate and i think their opinion of him may change. so i think the best strategy is to attack, attract. don't try to completely reinvent yourself. when you try to do it in a moment of pressure, it seems too phony. i think he has to live by who he is. he's not a great politician. he's got to say, i'm a manager, a fix-it man. he can pump it up a little more. that's fine. and finally don't lunch to the right. the nomination is not worth having if you can't get elected. is he so conservative. romney's best strength is that he has that moderation. i think basically fire away and see if the attacks work. >> arizona and michig
